REFLECTION

Few More

I hate to admit it but the second to the last grading is done. The school year has reached it's denouement. But still, it's not yet the end so there's few more months to enjoy and make history of our high school life.

This third grading, I can't even remember of how many times I'm at the classroom. Maybe a few? If only I have a time machine, I should have been traveled to those classes that I missed. According to my classmates, the topics were REALLY interesting. What a big sigh. We were busy because of extra curricular activities.

Anyway, I'm trying to cope up with them through reading books related to our topics, borrowing some notes and letting my classmates to teach me some of the hard lessons.

Right now, I'm going to get revenge this fourth grading period, hopefully. Things are getting ready, NOW I'M FIRED UP!

New Year! New Life! And..and uhh?..NEW EVERYTHING!! ^_^

Jump for Joy! New Adventures to Tour!

The arrival of a new year is here and I really hope something different will invade my body. I kind of hate the "New Year, New Me" thingy. I haven't experienced a "New Me" lately. But now, I will construct mine that will really change me.

This year, Ill be more responsible. Cramming should be crossed out of my list. I will also somewhat remove my laziness of reading because I also want to be a book lover like my friends. I have to pay more attention at the discussions right now for something that I can use for my college years.

Right now, what I really want to remove is my shy-type. I want to socialize more with people personally. I want to be more confident. Maybe this year, I can get rid of it.

I really don;t know f I can really do all of these. I hope I'll be different this year. I really want to achieve a "New Me."

CHRISTMAS DAY!

The Day For All!

Saying goodbye to November for a memorable month while a guest, December, comes in. The wind now is different. The air becomes cooler and denser. The big event is heading towards the people from around the world!

People have different beliefs. Some said that Santa roams around the world in order to distribute presents for the children with good records. But for me, Christmas Day is to celebrate and cherish the birth of the child that was born in Bethlehem naming Jesus. People are forgiving and and also tries to change in honor of the sacrifice Jesus did. People give gifts and eat food which serves as the blessing that Jesus gave. Well of course praying first in order to thank Jesus for the blessing.

It's a great thing we are still breathing. People shouldn't waste or ignore Christmas for it is a very special holiday which is celebrated with full of hearts and joy.

ENGLISH MONTH CELEBRATION 2014

Every year, the English Department of Ilocos Sur National High School celebrates National Reading Month. The theme of the celebration is "Outpouring Hearts and Mind Through English Proficiency and Literacy." The theme aims to motivate students to read in order to enhance our body.

Reading is everything. Once you read, you'll explore a massive amount of information. Nowadays, the number of people reading is gradually decreasing. technologies such as cellphones and computers are used frequently than book or any reading material. Well yes, using the internet to seek information is also good but socializing sites such as Facebook and Twitter are visited frequently.

Technologies should be lessen. Books should be use more frequently. From reading, you can explore a lot. Our isn't permanent thus why not start reading now?

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

FIX THE DEFECTIVES!!

Are you born defective? In the world that we are living, there is no perfect. Even the process of giving birth may sometimes fail. Examples are the blind, the deaf and the mute people. People with disabilities should be treated the same as normal people.

These modern days, people doesn't treat these poor people like a part of their families. Instead, they tease them and make fun of them which they call bullying.

Nowadays, people are finding ways to help those with disabilities do what they can't that normal people can do. Through this problem, they came up with something that may solve some of the problems. They invented the braille system for the blind, and sign languages for the deaf and mute people. From this they can live like normal people and this will give them freedom.

Reflection

Five months already past by and it's almost the end of the Second Grading Period. Now see how fast walks. A lot of people didn't notice how fast time goes by. Before we enter the semestral break, it will be the end of the Second Grading Period.

It's hard to believe that the lessons, activities and projects are gradually increasing in difficulty as each grading period pass by. But as a student, it is our duty to keep on learning to make the world attain peace. Can you even imagine the sacrifices the each students released? About the difficulties of the activities, students are grateful to encounter such difficulty. It is an opportunity for us to improve more.

After this grading period, we will be expecting GREAT opportunities to improve and enhance ourselves. The difficulties from the students from the Special Science Class is also different. It's harder and it's almost like a college-level difficulty. But as people said, from this experience, our struggles for the college level will decreased. As a student from the Special Science Class, I'm very grateful to have this opportunity to use for my college degree.
