Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

FIX THE DEFECTIVES!!

Are you born defective? In the world that we are living, there is no perfect. Even the process of giving birth may sometimes fail. Examples are the blind, the deaf and the mute people. People with disabilities should be treated the same as normal people.

These modern days, people doesn't treat these poor people like a part of their families. Instead, they tease them and make fun of them which they call bullying.

Nowadays, people are finding ways to help those with disabilities do what they can't that normal people can do. Through this problem, they came up with something that may solve some of the problems. They invented the braille system for the blind, and sign languages for the deaf and mute people. From this they can live like normal people and this will give them freedom.

Reflection

Five months already past by and it's almost the end of the Second Grading Period. Now see how fast walks. A lot of people didn't notice how fast time goes by. Before we enter the semestral break, it will be the end of the Second Grading Period.

It's hard to believe that the lessons, activities and projects are gradually increasing in difficulty as each grading period pass by. But as a student, it is our duty to keep on learning to make the world attain peace. Can you even imagine the sacrifices the each students released? About the difficulties of the activities, students are grateful to encounter such difficulty. It is an opportunity for us to improve more.

After this grading period, we will be expecting GREAT opportunities to improve and enhance ourselves. The difficulties from the students from the Special Science Class is also different. It's harder and it's almost like a college-level difficulty. But as people said, from this experience, our struggles for the college level will decreased. As a student from the Special Science Class, I'm very grateful to have this opportunity to use for my college degree.

ISNHS INTRAMURALS 2014

Sports began thousand of years ago. It is said that ancient sports was bloody hell. Those includes wars and hunting. But Sports became more formal as time goes by.

Sports is a human activity involving physical skill and exertion which is undertaken competitively and capable of achieving a result. That's why events like the Intramurals began to took place.

The Intramurals in our school help the student expose their skills in the different fields of sports. The best game I watched so far was match between the Seniors and Juniors in the field of basketball. From there, I found out that Intramurals also aims to make the students enjoy and learn

WORLD TEACHERS' DAY 2014

Teacher: The Mentor of All Mentors

As we all know, the saying goes "Education is the key to success," but who teaches us? Who really are these people? Are they really that important to us?

Our teachers are the reasons why a lot of people attained the title of SUCCESS. Every year, the whole world celebrates World's Teachers' Day to honor the sacrifices and hard work of our teachers did to us. Our Teachers help us learn various of things such as Mathematics and Languages. They help us to simple live our lives easier. Without them, without anyone to teach us, then our knowledge will be 0 %. Chaos will surround the Earth. Without them, the word "communication" shouldn't have existed in the dictionaries. Wars and hatred should've took control of the world. Our teachers are somewhat called "A Living Hero."

Now you know how important they are in this world. If teachers really didn't exist, then no words should've been added to the dictionary. To be honest, I shouldn't have been writing this if no teacher exists to teach me. I'm very thankful that they really exist. The hard word and sacrifices they made, they're unbelievable. They are also called our SECOND PARENTS.

2014 SCIENCE CLUB MONTH CELEBRATION

IMMUNATION: ARMING SCIENCE CLUBBERS WITH HEALTHFUL DEFENSES TOWARDS NATIONAL WELLNESS

From the beginning, health is still one of the most important things to take care of. Some says that people who maintains good health tends to live for a long period of time.

Since every superheroes, there's a villain. One of the most dangerous villain that our health is facing these days are diseases. When diseases invade our bodies, our bodies will become weak and will bring symptoms depending on the disease that the body got. One of the most trending diseases right now is the Ebola virus which often cause a total hemorrhagic fever to the body. Another known disease is the ALS (Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis). It is a rare progressive degenerative fatal disease affecting the motor neurons.

Our health right now should be more secured than before. No one really knows when will another disease attack our health.

Modern Day Hero

Modern Day Hero

We all know who's Superman, right? Including Batman, Spiderman, Iron man and Thor, they are called superheroes. Heroes are cool but it does not mean that we have to posses supernatural powers to be a great hero. Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio doesn't have supernatural powers but why are they called heroes?

A hero is someone responsible enough to do anything to be worthy enough to be called hero. It includes risking his/her own life for wellness of many.

There is this someone whom I'll call a heroine. That heroine is Mommy, my mother. She always works at her fullest. She secures us with her full body. She knows what is the good thing t do. Her hardwork paid off. She just wasted a tank full of sweats and tears. Now see her masterpiece. She's magnificent. Without her, my knowledge would have been empty.

I really love my family. They helped me run this far. I thank them for everyhting thatthey've done. In times of solving problems and being lonely, they spupported me, cheered me. I really love them.

I thank everything to my family specially Mommy. My existence wouldn't be here without her. I promise I'll pay all of her as thanks for their hardwork. I admit that I wouldn't have written this without them. That's what we call HEROES.

INSIGHTS ABOUT 2014 NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

2014 Nutrition Month Celebration: Kalamidad Paghandaan,
Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan

The nutrition month is a nutrition education and information campaign sponsored by the National Nutrition Council, also called NNC. The aim of this is to respond to disaster-affected populations.

The Nutrition Month is celebrating with a theme "Kalamidad paghandaan, Gutom at malnutrisyon agapan" this 2014. This was approved last March 26,2014.

The theme of this year's celebration of Nutrition Month tells about the importance of being prepared to any kind of calamity and the prevention of hunger and malnutrition. This helps diminish the impact of calamities and disasters.

Our school conducted activities which helped the students be prepared. After joining some of the activities of the school, it was an honor joining on those kinds of activities. I learned a lot, specially being healthy. As by the saying "Health is Wealth," our health is very precious to us. It's more than the price of a gold because we only live once. From now on, I'm going to take good care of my own health.

REACTION ABOUT PNOY's 5TH SONA

President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III: My 5th State
of the Nation Address

When you're a president, delivering a "State of the Nation Address," also abbreviated as SONA, is troublesome. The SONA is delivered every year and talks about the status of the country. Did you know that there have been already 76 SONAs delivered? Yes. Last July 28, 2014, was President Benigno Aquino III delivered an emotional State of the Nation Address. As expected, there were still people who disagreed the President's SONA. But, as of for me, Ill give a thumbs up for President Aquino II. It's not because I was pitied, but because his SONA inspired me as a Filipino.

For me, the SONA of President Aquino III woke me up. From there, I saw an image. An eternally life- changing image. I saw a paper burning. The paper represents our country while the fire represents the chaos and problems that we are suffering right now. There I saw dreams burned down to ashes. We were once called the "Sick Man of Asia" but now, they're making the road straight again.

The SONA of the President was astounding. It was like there was an alarm clock alarming so loud that it woke up my real me. If i could do my best, maybe I could change our country even just an inch. I'm proud to say that I am a product of this country. After all, everything the President did was no joke but it's not yet complete. So we'll be expecting more actions on Mr. President's moves.

REFLECTION

The Reflection of Mine

I really gained a lot of knowledge in our lessons in ICT specially blogging. Blogging is the coolest lesson that I've learned. The first time I heard the word "blogging" was like "What on Earth is blogging!?" Then, I knew that we can share our opinions and also read others' reaction on a particular topic.

During our lesson in blogging, there were parts of it that made me confused. From creating a google mail account to creating and posting a blog, struggling struck me down. I don't know what to click and what to type. In short, I really don't know what to do.

From there, I got motivated. I asked for assistance. After I successfully created my own g-mail account, fire was starting to get hot, I was mastering and familiarizing all pars of blogging. I started searching everything and tested it to see how it works.

I have to keep moving forward in mastering and familiarizing all about blogging. I will do my best in learning more in order for me to achieve a very high goal.

A Letter to the President

The Respected Benigno Simeon Aquino III
Republic of the Philippines

Dear Mr. President,
I'm Andrei Miguel. I am a student of Ilocos Sur National High School. Today I am writing you an issue regarding to the protection of the Philippines when facing severe weather conditions.

This came up to my mind immediately after hearing the news that the people in Tacloban suffered severely in the typhoon, Yolanda. A lot of houses were destroyed and the supplies and products were minimized. Even worse, a lot of people lost and died during the typhoon. All of these made me questioned myself. I hope that there will be solution this problem.

The issue is about dealing with severe weather condition which includes typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc. I have some suggestions in dealing with these phenomenas. First, we should identify the weakness and lacking of the area. Therefore, we can easily provide the materials, equipment and facilities in order to strengthen the condition or defense of that certain area. Second, conduct conferences or seminars. With this, we can enhance the knowledge of the Filipinos and we can improve their movements like making them more alert than before.

Mr. President, thank you for taking your time reading my letter to you. Dealing with these kinds of situations may consume a lot of work. I hope that you will make some actions regarding to this problem.

Yours truly,                                                                                                   Andrei Miguel P. Piano
